Just to let you all know...

On my last night in Edinburgh, I ate haggis.

Yes, I ate haggis. Yes... I liked it. A lot. I was actually pretty disturbed by the fact that I enjoyed it so much. I have a picture of it, so I'll have to load that soon. However, the internet in our hotel in Chester is really, really slow. Free of charge, but slow.

I'll update more later, but for now I need to jump in the shower and prepare for our concert tonight at St. Mary's. This is our last concert, and then tomorrow we travel by bus to Oxford for 3 days... then onto Ireland! :)

(Dad) Your tour is turning into quite the culinary odyessy. The statement about haggis somehow brings to mind a person who has jumped into an unexpectedly icy pool and now wants to deceive his friends into jumping in too. Of course, you do have Scottish ancestors, so maybe tolerance for haggis is a genetic defect you inherited from them.
I don't think you are close to needing it, but I'll deposit some money in your account tomorrow so you'll have a "cushion."
I hope you concert goes well, completing the group's triumphant musical sweep. (Hopefully, before the haggis kicks in.)

Haggis, hm-m-m! Was it served with neeps and nips? The nips might account for your enjoyment! We all know about the Jones propensity for a few nips!
Jack, Julia and Helen all say "Where's Katie?" each time I see them. This trip sounds like the best one yet.
You have a request to take another violin student this summer.
Love and Hugs,
Mom
